Our Mission is Twofold:
To evangelize the lost with the gospel of God’s grace and to edify believers through the teaching of God’s Word.
Who We Are
At Heritage of Grace Bible Church, we exist to glorify Christ by proclaiming His finished work, nurturing spiritual growth by resting in grace, and helping every believer walk in the freedom and joy of our union in Him.

Doctrinal Statement
We believe that the Holy Scriptures, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Bible is our sole sufficient rule for faith and practice. We affirm the preservation of God’s Word.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Godhead is fully God, equal in power and glory.
The indwelling Holy Spirit, who regenerates, seals, is the earnest, illuminates and fills the believer. There is one baptism of the Holy Spirit at the time of conversion and that speaking in tongues and other sign gifts ceased before or with the completion of the New Testament writings.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became flesh through the virgin birth, being conceived by the Holy Ghost. He lived a sinless life, was crucified, died, and rose bodily from the dead for our justification. He ascended into heaven and now intercedes for believers.
We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. It is not based on human effort, religious rituals, or moral improvement. Salvation is entirely the work of God through the finished work of Christ. We reject any notion that one must “do enough” to be saved. Faith rests solely on what Christ has DONE. We affirm that repentance is a change of mind and turning to God, not a meritorious work.
XII. Unity and Purity of the Church We believe that church membership is a sacred trust, and members are to walk in faith and holiness. Church discipline, governed by Scripture only, can be a necessary practice to preserve purity and protect the flock. We welcome visitors.
XIII. Summary We confess with the saints throughout history that salvation is in Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone, to the glory of God alone. We reject legalism, moralism, pietism, and personality cults. Our aim is to exalt Christ, rest in His finished work, and live holy lives by the Spirit’s power.

We believe the local church is a congregation of baptized believers governed by Scripture and led under the headship of Christ. Each church is autonomous and not subject to any outside hierarchy, denomination, or fellowship.
We believe that Christ instituted a twofold mission for the local church to Evangelize the lost and Edify believers. We also observe the Lord’s Supper. These do not confer grace but are signs of the gospel and means of edification for believers.
We believe that Christ will return bodily to judge the living and the dead. The saved will enter everlasting joy in God’s presence. The lost will face eternal punishment in hell and ultimately the lake of fire.
We believe that human life begins at conception and that abortion is the taking of innocent life. We also affirm the responsibility of the church to stand against all forms of abuse, including spousal and child abuse, and to confront silence or complicity with such evil.
